What will you do?

You will be part of an agile DevOps team that consists of different specialists. You will be a part of a team that is responsible for a new component within Sqills. This means you have a chance to provide input into producing this new component from the very beginning. If you are someone who enjoys a challenge, likes seeing ideas become reality and have a direct impact on the customer, this is definitely the right opportunity for you.

Within your role, you will be able to channel your passion for design into creating frontend solutions for this new component of our S3 Passenger product, including building dashboards based on near-real-time data, among other tasks. Using modern frontend technologies such as Typescript, React, and Go, you will work closely with other software developers who create the building blocks for the frontend. Additionally, if interested, you can also participate in backend-oriented development, being part of a full stack DevOps team.

Some things you are responsible for include: 

  • Develop and maintain scalable and robust software components using Typescript, React, and Go is nice to have;

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry standards;

  • Participate in the design and development of new features and capabilities for the S3 Passenger platform;

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software;

  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and bugs, and provide solutions to complex problems;

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in web development technologies and programming languages.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in both working and technical proficiency (e.g. HBO ICT, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Technical Management);

  • Good experience in web development, for example using Typescript, React, and Go;

  • Experience with development of advanced dashboards using D3.js is a pre;

  • Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;

  • Good understanding of software development best practices, including unit testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment;

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently;

  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think outside the box and find creative solutions to complex problems.
