The team you'll be working with

Your team is responsible for one or more components of our S3 Passenger Suite. Each of our DevOps teams consists of full-stack developers, who as a team, are fully responsible for both the backend as well as frontend implementations of those components. Besides that, each team also has testers to ensure overall quality of these components.

Through automated testing, continuous deployment, and monitoring the applications in production, we make sure to provide the quality our customers expect.

What will you do?

As a product owner, you are responsible for finding a good balance between new user stories, contributing to technical innovations, and supporting customers or the team in dealing with issues. You also function as a sounding board and point of contact for other teams when it comes to functional or technical developments that also impact your team. Besides that you are responsible for the planning of all activities within your team and communication towards your stakeholders. 

And last but not least, you ensure that documentation of your components in Jira and Confluence is up to par. So, your role is very diverse. It is a clear combination of the roles of Information Analyst and Product Owner. You are given responsibility for the broad strokes but are also responsible for working out the details.

We are looking for someone with

• At least a bachelor’s degree;
• Demonstrable leadership experience that makes the team stronger;
• The ability to think analytically and conceptually;
• Experience with Jira and Confluence is a plus;
• A team player with strong organisational and problem-solving skills;
• Good communication skills in both Dutch and English.
