Talent Acquisition Specialist

At Sqills we are looking for a talent acquisition specialist to help us grow even further.

Full-time · Enschede

What will you do?

Are you a people-person with a knack for finding hidden talent? Convincing enough to get those with less-than-hidden talents enthusiastic about a new job? If this sounds like you, we want to get in touch, because Sqills is looking for Talent Acquisition Specialist

As Talent Acquisition Specialist at Sqills, you are responsible for the entire recruitment process for our different locations in the Netherlands (Enschede, Amersfoort) and France (Paris). This means you are responsible for everything ranging from identifying suitable candidates to selecting and hiring the right person. Within the role, you'll enjoy substantial autonomy to get the results you are looking for.

Being a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Sqills means trying to find the best candidates in an already challenging field, but we have plenty to offer to help get people interested. We have cool job opportunities, great colleagues (even if we say so ourselves), became part of Siemens Mobility in 2021, and are growing fast. All with the goal of remaining a global leader in our field.

At Sqills we don't go for the standard profiles. In fact, we are always looking for talent that matches in terms of knowledge and skills but also in terms of ambition and personality. This makes it important that you understand the difference between our development teams in terms of programming language and how they work, but also have the ability to assess where the candidate fits best.

As an international organisation with worldwide ambition, it is crucial that you speak and write fluent English.

Summary

  • You screen candidates based on their experience, skills, and fit with the organisation. You organise and conduct job interviews and selection interviews with candidates. This includes phone interviews, digital interviews, or in-person interviews;

  • You develop relationships with candidates, understanding that sometimes the recruitment process takes a long time. This means answering questions, offering information about the company and the position, and ensuring a positive "candidate experience" throughout the hiring process;

  • You work closely with many different internal colleagues. You rely on Team Coaches/ Managers and team members. You coordinate recruitment strategies and make sure the entire process is streamlined. With so many different stakeholders, clear documentation is essential. This is why you make sure the information in our ATS system is always up-to-date and everybody stays informed during the hiring process. By the way, we work with Homerun!

  • You actively perform recruitment activities such as using social media and professional networking opportunities to get people interested, reviewing applications you receive, and representing Sqills at various events;

  • You will also be given the opportunity to help think about themes such as improving our Candidate Journey and strengthening our Employer Branding.

You will be based at our headquarters in Enschede. An office that you will be proud to show off. We have a beautiful Grand Café, a crazy Safari Room and all DevOps teams have their own rooms, including individual workspaces.

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter (minimum 3 years);

  • Affinity and/or experience with IT profiles;

  • Available at least 32 hours per week;

  • Critical in the recruitment process and constantly looking for ways to get candidates interested in Sqills;

  • You are innovative; you share your ideas by challenging and optimising existing processes;

  • You are an engaging and clear conversation partner for both candidates and stakeholders;

  • We work with many international colleagues, so a good command of the Dutch and English language, both oral and written.

Will you help us conquer even more markets?

We realise that we are dealing with a crowded job market, making it even more of a challenge to find candidates that only meet the necessary technical qualifications, but also fit within the company. If your recruitment philosophy revolves around quality rather than quantity, we welcome you to apply.

Please be aware that only Dutch citizens, EU citizens, or individuals holding a TWV work permit for the Netherlands are eligible to apply for this position.
