You will have the opportunity to think about how we will implement innovative testing methodologies across all teams and ensure that quality assurance practices are seamlessly integrated throughout the complete software development lifecycle.

What will you do?

Vision & Inspire

• Develop and communicate a forward-thinking vision for testing within the organisation.
• Stay up to date of industry best practices and emerging trends to drive innovation and promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement a testing strategy aligned with our business goals.

Train, Coach & Hire

• Design and implement a comprehensive training program, providing ongoing support.
• Play a pivotal role in recruiting skilled professionals focusing on test automation and development.

Facilitate

• Lead quarterly meetings with Quality Leads (Q Leads) from (14) DevOps teams.
• Drive discussions and strategies on quality-related topics, fostering collaboration among teams (25 Software Test Engineers in total).
• Foster a collaborative environment for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

We are looking for someone with…

• A Bachelor’s Degree;
• Proven experience as a Test Architect / Test Manager or similar role;
• In-depth knowledge of testing methodologies, release, integration, and performance testing;
• Experience of programming languages (E.g. Java, Kotlin, Go);
• Experience or knowledge of test tooling (E.g. Cucumber, Gatling, Jmeter, SonarCube);
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in mentoring, coaching and hiring of test talents;
• ISTQB certification is required;
• Familiarity with emerging trends and technologies in testing.
